Ten Tors Orchestra is the resident professional ensemble of Peninsula Arts, Plymouth University. It was established in 1998 and takes its name from the many Tors, the highest points around Dartmoor.
The orchestra’s annual programme includes regular concerts in Plymouth, Tavistock
and Totnes and contributes to regional festivals and celebrations including the Peninsula
Arts Contemporary Music Festival at Plymouth University.
Many of the players have
been members of leading UK and international orchestras and ensembles, bringing great
experience to this, the premier professional chamber orchestra in Devon and Cornwall.
